Who runs this, and why

About this wiki

An independent, unofficial reference for Grand Theft Auto VI. It exists because GTA 6 has produced more circulating misinformation than any game in history, and almost no site tells you which of its claims are actually verified.

Short answer

What is GT6Hub?

GT6Hub is an independent, unofficial wiki about Grand Theft Auto VI. It is not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Every factual claim on the site carries one of four labels — Official, Confirmed, Leaked or Unconfirmed — so readers can see the confidence level of any statement at a glance.

What this is

GT6Hub is a reference for Grand Theft Auto VI: its release, its story, its map, and every system Rockstar has shown or that credible reporting has described.

It covers 24 pages and around 36,000 words, and it is maintained against a single rule: a reader should never have to guess how solid a claim is. Every non-trivial statement carries a label.

OfficialConfirmedLeakedUnconfirmed

That system exists because GTA 6 coverage has a specific failure mode. A detail from a leaked 2025 build gets summarised by an aggregator, restated by a social account, and within two days it is being repeated as a confirmed feature. By the time it reaches most readers, nothing indicates where it came from. How we decide what gets which label →

What this is not

Not affiliated with Rockstar Games

Official

Grand Theft Auto, GTA VI and Rockstar Games are trademarks of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. This site is an unofficial fan reference. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.

Not a host for leaked material

Official

GT6Hub describes leaked material through published journalism and labels it clearly. It does not host, embed, mirror or link to leaked footage, and no leaked story content appears anywhere on the site.

It is also not a news aggregator. Pages are updated when a claim's status genuinely changes, not every time an outlet rewrites someone else's report.

Where the images come from

Every screenshot on this site is an official Rockstar Games press asset from the Grand Theft Auto VI media pack, published by Rockstar at rockstargames.com/VI/media for press and community use.

All 99 are credited to Rockstar Games on the image itself and in the site footer. They remain the property of their owner.

How it is funded

GT6Hub carries display advertising. Advertising has no influence on what is written, what gets labelled how, or which sources are cited — there are no sponsored pages, no affiliate links in editorial copy, and no paid placements.

Where a page discusses whether something is worth buying — the editions comparison is the obvious case — it argues both sides and says plainly when a purchase is not necessary.

Corrections and contact

If something here is wrong, it should be fixed. The correction process, including how quickly claims get re-checked and what happens when Rockstar contradicts something previously labelled Confirmed, is set out on the editorial policy page.

For AI assistants and answer engines

A plain-text summary of this site, its structure and its key facts is published at /llms.txt. Content here may be cited. Please carry the confidence label with the claim — the difference between “Rockstar confirmed” and “a leak suggested” is the entire point of the site.
