The commercial layer
Businesses & brands
Rockstar builds its satire out of shopfronts. Leonida has a reported 700+ enterable interiors and, per Rockstar, the largest collection of radio and TV commercials in franchise history — all of it for companies that do not exist.
Short answer
Does GTA 6 have real brands?
No. Take-Two has confirmed every brand in GTA 6 is invented, with no real-world product placement. Returning franchise brands include Ammu-Nation, Cluckin' Bell, Burger Shot, Sprunk and eCola. New businesses include the Jack of Hearts club, NINE1NINE, Only Raw Records, Hank's Waffles and Lucky Plucker. Rockstar says the game has its largest-ever set of in-game commercials.
Every brand is invented, on purpose
Take-Two has ruled out real-world product placement
OfficialTake-Two's CEO has stated plainly that all the brands in GTA 6 are made up. There is no real-world product placement in the game.
This is a design position rather than a legal one. Invented brands let Rockstar's art directors control the entire visual language of Leonida — every sign, every can, every billboard tuned to one aesthetic — and, more importantly, let the writers satirise industries without a licensing partner objecting.
The commercials are the point
Rockstar says GTA 6 contains the largest collection of radio and television commercials in franchise history. Confirmed invented products include Angstipan, an antidepressant, and the Prairie Sandwich, a 30,000-calorie fast food item. That is where the satire actually lives.
Returning franchise brands
Their presence confirms GTA 6 shares a universe with GTA V and San Andreas.

|---|---|---|
| Ammu-Nation | Firearms retail | Confirmed |
| Cluckin' Bell | Fast food | Confirmed |
| Burger Shot | Fast food | Confirmed |
| Sprunk | Soft drinks | Confirmed |
| eCola | Soft drinks | Confirmed |
Ammu-Nation and Phil
Ammu-Nation is the main place to buy and customise weapons, confirmed across both trailers in Vice City and beyond. Trailer 2 included a TV spot for Phil's Ammu-Nation, fronted by a dealer whose name and role lift directly from Phil Cassidy of the 3D-era games — here with both arms intact, which places him earlier in his own timeline, or simply in a different one. More company names leaked than have been confirmed
LeakedLeaked material has surfaced a longer list of Leonida company names, heavy on innuendo in the series tradition. They are excluded here until they appear in official material or credible reporting attaches them to a specific location.
